1230 Wien Villa Dr. Schön

The property slopes flatly towards the south with a panoramic view of the medieval Perchtoldsdorf Castle on the left and the baroque Rodauner Mountain Church on the right. The conception of the building follows a half-storey rhythm from north to south, which also reveals one-and-a-half storey-high rooms that are not noticeable from the outside. On the ground floor facing the garden, the bedrooms and bathroom are located directly next to an artificial pond, the living and dining room is on the first floor to enjoy the breathtaking view, and a sauna area can be found in the attic. The upper two floors are united by a 2-storey conservatory, where it is possible to let plants grow towards the sky.

2392 Sulz im Wienerwald, Haus Bretschneider, Top 3 und 4

In a rural long house built around 1900, standing in grassland, surrounded by woods and two fishponds, two of the existing residential units were to be converted into luxury flats for both brothers. Another requirement was that all rooms except for the en-suite bedroom had to be lit from the south.

Top 3 opens to the sun with semi-circular two-story glazing that captures as much light as possible, opening views over the woods as you ascend and descend the glazed stairs, which are reflected in a reflecting pool inside.

Top 4 as the end of the long building, is given a special structure by a colored glass wave that spans the children's rooms with their child-friendly galleries. Otherwise, Top 4 opens to the sun with straight-lined glass facades and a glass tent elevated above the roof, which can be darkened with a canvas.
